The 44th annual NAACP Image Awards aired live on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 on NBC, and Nerium International was proud to be the sponsor of the gifting suite! Nerium was honored to be a part of these awards celebrating the accomplishments of people of color in a variety of fields, including television, film, music, and literature.
The award winners were announced Friday night, however every celebrity nominee left a winner because they were each given Nerium AD to take home, as were all of the performers. We were thrilled to have so many attendees come learn more about Nerium. Here are pictures of a few of the many celebrities who dropped by to show Nerium some love and pick up their product!
First Samuel L. Jackson took home the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his portrayal of Stephen in Django Unchained. He was pleased to see Nerium there and gladly accepted his Nerium AD as a nominee at the NAACP Image Awards.

Wyclef Jean and Common provided outstanding entertainment for the evening, serenading the audience after Sidney Poitier presented Harry Belafonte with the Spingarn Award in honor and recognition of his outstanding achievements. Wyclef Jean and Common were just as pleased to receive their Nerium AD.

Gladys Knight was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Grandma Carolyn in The First Family. While Vanessa Williams went home with the award that night (for her role as Renee Perry on Desperate Housewives), Ms. Knight was pleased that we pulled her aside to present her with a bottle of Nerium. She’ll always be a winner in our eyes!
