100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oil
Gaultheria procumbens (Wintergreen) leaf oil
With a minty aroma slightly milder than Peppermint, Wintergreen oil is a great option to add variety to health and beauty products, such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotions. Wintergreen and birch plants are the only natural sources of methyl salicylate, the active ingredient in many massage and muscle alleviation products. It’s cool, refreshing sensation is a perfect natural alternative to synthetic muscle relief products and is a key oil used in the Raindrop Technique.
Wintergreen is also a key ingredient in other Young Living products, such as Ortho Ease, PanAway, and Ortho Sport.
When using topically for the first time, be sure to test a small amount on your skin before using excessively, as in rare cases some people might be allergic to methyl salicylate. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.
